Dawn DuRocher is a Senior Paralegal at Lobb Cliff & Lester, LLP, and the Paralegal Manager. Dawn’s legal career spans over 18 years of legal experience. Her career in the legal field began in 1989 as a law office receptionist, as a legal secretary from 1990 through 1998, and thereafter transitioning into her current paralegal position where she is the firm-wide paralegal and head of the paralegal department at Lobb Cliff & Lester, LLP. Dawn is very excited to be a paralegal and is devoted to her legal career, certification, education and expansion into paralegal management. In striving to maintain excellence in the paralegal field, Dawn obtained her Certified Paralegal credential through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in May of 2006. In September of 2006, Dawn obtained her Advanced Certified Paralegal credential in Discovery through NALA and, in January

of 2007, Dawn obtained her Advanced Certified Paralegal credential in Trial Practice through NALA.
Additionally, Dawn has been a member of the Inland Counties Association of Paralegals (ICAP) since 1999 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2000. Dawn currently serves as ICAP’s President, NALA Liaison, Riverside County Bar Association (RCBA) Liaison, Newsletter Editor for ICAPtions, and Corporate Sponsor Chair. Dawn has also served as the Elections Chair. Furthermore, Dawn assisted the CLA Review Chair with ICAP’s 2007 CLA Review Course. In offering assistance in ICAP’s efforts to prepare paralegals with the San Bernardino and Riverside County areas for the CLA/CP exam and achieve their CLA/CP designation, Dawn taught a workshop on the legal ethics area of the exam in June of 2007. Under the CLA Review Chair’s guidance and leadership, Dawn anticipates presenting additional courses that will be a low cost alternative to other providers. This effort will help increase the number of CLA/CPs and thereby promote the professional image of paralegals within the Inland Empire.
